Health is a significant factor to consider when talking about the lifestyle of people, as it plays a vital role and most time dictates the lifestyle of a person. There are various definitions of health, but the major three definitions according to NCBI are,
The first is that health is the absence of any disease or impairment.
The second is that health is a state that allows the individual to adequately cope with all demands of daily life (implying also the absence of disease and impairment).
The third definition states that health is a state of balance, an equilibrium an individual has established within himself and between himself and his social and physical environment.
All these definitions address different types of health, which are physical health, mental health, and social health consecutively. They all complement each other, as “if one of these health is absent, definitely it will affect the perfection of the rest.” Just for instance, when an individual is ill physically, s/he will be down, definitely disturbing the mental health by thinking of things that could have been done if s/he’s not down with the particular illness, and this will keep him absent from some social gatherings he’s been into, so this shows how important they all are. Mental illness can also trigger physical breakdown, just as social illness can lead to mental illness. All types of health need to be maintained carefully, as it is everyone’s responsibility to have them in a great position.
To achieve a healthy lifestyle, many things are required, ranging from eating healthy, dressing well to suit the environment one finds himself, getting involved in some responsible social gatherings, staying fit, and traveling around to great places. All these are great things to do to achieve a healthy lifestyle and to be cheering all day is a great fitness one needs.
